This branch is now back under the original Sakonis management, who have done an excellent job in Hatch End and Wembley. As the original restaurant, it had been under different franchise management for some time and had unfortunately gone downhill. It’s great to see it back with the original owners and restored to high standards. We had a fantastic experience with a varied, high-quality buffet. All the classics were there chilli paneer, puri, bhajia, dosa, and potato curry along with some newer and interesting options such as a Thai tofu salad. Everything was freshly cooked, with a huge variety on offer, and the value for money is unmatched. The décor still needs some improvement, but the owners assured us they plan to bring it up to the same standard as the Wembley branch.Posted on Diggu chaudharyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Visited Sakonis today with family and had a great time. The buffet system offered a good variety of tasty Indo-Chinese food. The place was very busy due to Christmas, but despite that we really enjoyed the experience. Food was fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere was lively. Would definitely visit again.Posted on Sabira BhimjiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I ordered take away dahi wada and dhokla. Very poor service. Both items not cooked properly. Wada had awful smell. I threw it in the bin. I returned after so many years. Service and food was brilliant and I thought it would be the same.Posted on Amit KaleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Edit: on my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to see a refurbished decor thatafe the whole setup nice and opened up compared to the prior claustrophobic booth style setup. Food is great as usual. However I found it a bit cheeky on part of Sakonis to slide in a £1 charity donation on the bill. This £1 then gets VAT'd. While it is optional, I don't agree customers go to restaurant to do charity. There are many other avenues for patrons to do their part of charity, but restaurants don't come across to me as one. There is no mention either of what this charity is, not was there any explanation or details provided about the same. They also add a £1.5 eat in charge which is again not mentioned clearly. What not just advertise 12.99+1.50 as the buffet cost rather that surprises. ------- End of end ---------- If you are in mood for binge eating great Indian food, go-to Sakonis and enjoy their buffet. You will not be disappointed.Posted on Pratiksha PopatTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. OUR STORY
The Sakonis brand started off as one of the first fruit and vegetable market stalls in Wembley and slowly grew to an Internationally recognized brand representing homemade, fresh, tasty vegetarian meals, snacks and sweets.
This family owned and run business was driven by quality vegetarian food, fresh ingredients, tested recipes and a friendly face to greet customers.
Based on reputation of honest, delicious food and pioneering flavors, the restaurant grew from a snack bar to serving fully – fledged A La Carte menu, an extensive lunch and dinner Buffet, a Grab and Go snack bar, a Juice bar and a Savoury Snack (Farsan) shop.
